The Commissioner Designate responded to the NI Affairs Committee Call for Evidence on the funding and delivery of public services in Northern Ireland.

The Call for Evidence asked for evidence on the four themes below:

  • the impact of the lack of a functioning Executive;
  • the financial situation facing NI's public services;
  • the operation of the Barnett formula; and 
  • bringing NI's finances onto a more sustainable footing.
